A TIRP DOWN LEE HIGHWAY

Live To Swim WEEK AHEAD: All the practices will be held as normal for the week. On Friday the pool will be closed all day in order to repair the floors in the bathrooms. It was brought to the attention that the floors are slippery and that Jeff Williams hit the floor Banana Peel the other night. Of course it had nothing to do with the fact that he was running to escape the Black Tooth Dolphin (black tooth ). That is the reason that we do not Running on concrete even if we are know as "The Flame".



Friday: June 27 The team picture will be taken, and all swimmers should be at the pool by 8:50am. Please wear this year's team shirt and your suit or white or blue shorts. NO BRIGHT COLORS. We will allow you to swim in the trap pool until 10:00 am. Yes you can bring all your White Water Rafting to the pool. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE BATHROOMS. WE WILL HAVE THE TWO BATHROOMS UPSTAIRS AND THE ONE ON THE PATIO FOR YOUR USE. THERE WILL BE NO SHOWERS. After the pictures we will have Doughnut 2 Doughnut Doughnut and juice for you all.



SATURDAY: JUNE 28 Meet in the parking lot at 7:45am for a road trip down Lee Highway to Ovelee for the Flying Fishing Fish Fry. It's just another team! everyone is to wear this year's shirt (NO EXCEPTIONS), We need to look like a team. Also find an old green shirt cut it up and make a bandanna for your head.



SUNDAY: JUNE 29 This past Monday night's meet has been rescheduled for Sunday morning. Warm-ups start at 9:30 and the meet will begin at 10:00am. We will do Im's first while they are getting the little ones into heats.



HAMLET WRAP: O.K we lost the meet, but we are so proud of each and every one of you. The Dolphin Dolphin 's went in and swam with a lot of Beating Heart and that's all we can do. Our free stylers hit the water and had 30 swims and came away with 25 best times, with Elena S., Logan M., Brandon A., Freddy C., and Maggie M. all winning their events. Maggie Macedonia in winning her event established a new LEE GRAHAM POOL RECORD , Bravo. Some other impressive swims were turned in by Newcomers Kate Sanders who dropped over 4 seconds, Hannah Hiscott dropping over 6 seconds, and Reid Back dropping over 3 seconds. We went on to score 35 points in the events to keep the green feet within reach for our backstroke's.

Our Backstroke's had 29 individual swims and posted 24 best times , while scoring 28 points. Winning their events in backstroke were Maddie C., Logan M., Sam B., and Maggie Macedonia again breaking the LEE GRAHAM POOL RECORD (held by Coach Lauren). Jump For Joy . Turning in some impressive swims were Noah S. who cracked the 30 barrier for the first time. William A. who dropped over 6 seconds in his race. Catie D. was on Fire 3 dropping over 10 seconds in her race. Nicholas N. also came up big for the Dolphins dropping over 5 seconds. Mitch H. and Meghan A. turned in some great races dropping 3 seconds. Now it was time for the Frog 4 's to get those legs ready to hit the pool as it was off to breaststroke.

We had 30 individual swims and again the Dolphin showed a lot ofBeating Heart by establishing 25 new best times. Winning their events here were Elena S., Miller Surette establishing a new LEE GRAHAM POOL RECORD held by Brian Schmitt. You Are The Man . Also winning their events were Christie D., and Natalie L. Our Breaststroke's closed the gap a little by scoring 35 points. Impressive swims were turned in by Annette S. dropping almost 4 seconds, Mia C. dropping over 3 seconds, Troy P. dropping over 3 seconds, Carolyn S. breaking that 40 barrier for the first time. It was now time to turn to the sky and let our fliers loose and how they flew.


Our Fliers won the scoring for the week scoring a total of 41 points with 2 less events. Winning events here were Miller S., Maddie C., Christie D., Sam B., Freddy C., and Natalie L.. Also or senior girls of Natalie, Sarah, and Susha finished the individual events with a 1-2-3- SWEEP of the GREEN FEET. You Rock Some impressive Fly swims were turned in by Lucas C., Jared B., Nick R., Christine A. who swam up in age and dropped 3 seconds while breaking up a Sweeping . Another impressive swim turned in while swimming up was turned in by Charlie L., Eva E. had a great swim dropping over 3 seconds.

Both of these dolphins displayed a lot of heart in their swims, and also their unselfishness while cheering and supporting their teammates.
